Cohanim Architecture is undertaking a substantial programme involving feasibility, concept design, external alterations, internal alterations and technical work to this third-generation family owned hotel located in the prestigious Cartwright Gardens a couple of minutes walk from St. Pancras, Kings Cross, London. This exciting programme involves three phases of work, all of which rely on Listed Building Consent and a strategic approach to planning and construction.
In August 2024 our firm successfully appealed against Camden Councils inability to determine and subsequent refusal of the initial submission prepared for a new external lift shaft. We and our client are absolutely delighted with the result and look forward to continuing with the extensive programme of works to bring this historic institution forward into the 21st century with high-quality, accessible and carefully designed interventions.
