Managing the design sequence and coordinating every discipline for an Ambassador's home as part of a wider scope - itself part of London's role as home to the Polish government during its years in exile - presented a unique set of challenges: reception rooms and guest suites fit to receive dignitaries on one side, and the Ambassador's own private quarters on the other, with security, openness and everyday practicality considerations running as strands through the process. Few commissions carry this specific and demanding combination of design constraints, security considerations, flexible use, heritage demands let alone having this being placed in central London - it remains a true privilege to be entrusted with this type of work.
