Cohanim Architecture were commissioned to complete a planning application and LBC for a new restaurant opening in Mayfair, positioned between Oxford Street, Regent Street and Hanover Square.
This is a high-density commercial district owing to its world class commercial facilities – including the flagship Apple store which is located within the facing parallel block, Oxford Circus tube station, world famous shopping districts and many more places of interest.
The scheme is for a new restaurant headed by a renowned chef and comprises two floors of a Grade II listed building. It is due to open February 2018.
The scope of our work involved a creating a full drawing package, Design & Access statement, liaising between the town planners, Westminster Council, clients, acoustic specialists and others, tendering and directing various other activities.
The scheme will show a vertical green wall on the building’s facade, new awnings by Deans Awnings and various other features to provide a high-quality restaurant to this reputable area in London and tourist hotspot.
